Either way, wouldnt a simple shellexecute call solve this in whatever format you choose? If all you want is for the default program to open up and show you the word document (microsoft word usually), you have to call: ShellExecute(hWnd, "open", "Readme.doc, NULL, NULL, NULL);

If you want to see what the game looks like and there is no one else on the server you can just set number of players to 1 when you create a battle. There is no AI but you can place guys and move around and stuff. > Aren't these illustrations from Magic The Gathering cards? No we found people to dr...

skullfire: > Nice, though I could not play it. why couldn't you play it? Well, there was no one. Also, i tried creating a new battle just to see the 3d stuff, but a black background appears on the battle where the 3d map should appear. Also, there is an avatar at the right with a question mark. May...

Nice, though I could not play it. I was browsing the project's files and found that you used some kind of tilesystem based on multitexturing (i am guessing here). How does this tilesystem work? This kind of thing is what I was looking for for our game, so it would be great if you could elabor...

Really interesting. This could really be used on a game I was designing....

Just a question, does mapping the cube with a sphere generate seams or general uv problems?

Great work walaber! This reminds me so much of Little Big Planet. Or at least at the early prototypes they did for Sony (shown public @ GDC 07). I hope this game evolves to be similar to PS3's savior game!

This is great work ajs! I can see a lot of UIs based on this idea. This brings back some memories of a presentation on the GDC06 about wild tangent and its advertising in game technologies, where they created textures out of html with dynamic advertising that would be displayed on some polies... int...

I played it! Very solid man, awesome. I liked the way you want the player to get used to snake and get him through various levels. I have some suggestions though! 1. Let the mouse live at GUI mode!! (it's kind of annoying for me to just use keys). 2. I would like to be able to select the level I wan...

This looks great! Nice work! The only downside I see is the fact that the Ogre head is not the best display model, mainly because the UV is not that well unwrapped. There's a lot of warping going on that surely does not contribute to the hatching technique.
Other than that, WOW! 5 minutes.. hehe
