Is mips and mips64 ABI supported by Ogre3D on Android?

As far as I can tell mips and mips64 are not supported by Ogre3D. My builds for those ABI's fail anyway.

Are they supposed to be supported? If not, will they ever be supported? If not, why?

Re: [Android] OgreSamples for Android released

Roughly how far would you say you've gotten on GLES3? Will I be able to use Ogre3D 2.1 for Android any time soon? What rough percentage would you say you're at, 25%? 50%? 75%? 97.3%?

Re: Build for Android - cpu-features.h missing

I solved it :D You can solve this by adding this line to CMakeLists.txt in Ogre3D: include_directories(/opt/android-ndk/sources/android/cpufeatures) Of course, replace it with the correct path to your NDK. If you get errors related to C++11, you can also add this to fix it: set(CMAKE_CXX_FLAGS "${CM...

Problems cross compiling with MinGW for Windows on Ubuntu

I'm having trouble cross compiling Ogre3D 2.1 for windows. I'm on Ubuntu and I'm using MinGW. This is my pretty basic windows toolchain file: set(CMAKE_SYSTEM_NAME Windows) set(MINGW TRUE) set(WIN32 TRUE) set(LINUX FALSE) set(UNIX FALSE) set(TOOLCHAIN_PREFIX i686-w64-mingw32) set(CMAKE_IGNORE_PATH /...

2.0 tutorial application

I could use some help with a 2.0 working sample. I got so far as to have a black screen running but there seems to be some pretty important differences between 1.10 and 2.0, e.g. removing the setposition function for lights. I assume this is because it's been changed so you attach the light to anoth...

[SOLVED]Static linking version 2.0 with CMake

GO TO THE END TO SEE HOW I DID IT The only tutorial I've found that touches upon this is the one found here: http://www.ogre3d.org/tikiwiki/StaticLinking , but it appears to be rather outdated and only targeted at Windows systems (I'm on Ubuntu), so I tried following the same steps with proper modi...

Re: Android build quick start guide

I'm building version 2.0 for Android and I've made some progress. Still not working but at least I've found workarounds for a bunch of problems. Now however I'm a bit stuck. I'll keep digging myself but hopefully someone here can offer some input. I have the latest Android SDK and NDK installed. I h...

Build SampleBrowserNDK (Android)

Trying to build 2.0 for android. Couldnt build SampleBrowserNDK so I enabled JNI samples and samples2 in CMake and I get this error: libOgreJNIDummy.so fatal error: -soname must take a non-empty argument [ 80%] Linking CXX shared module lib/libOgreJNIDummy.so /home/simon/Programs/Android-NDK/toolcha...

Re: Android build quick start guide

So everything went well, I built Ogre3D for android, yay! However, I could not build the SampleBrowserNDK. Thought it might be because JNI samples are disabled, or because samples2 is disabled, so I enabled them in cmake and now I got this error. libOgreJNIDummy.so fatal error: -soname: must take a ...

@Seranth, I had to disable all SIMD and etc.. add this to your cmake command. -DOGRE_SIMD_SSE2=OFF -DOGRE_SIMD_NEON=OFF and also this change was needed --- a/OgreMain/src/OgrePlatformInformation.cpp +++ b/OgreMain/src/OgrePlatformInformation.cpp @@ -37,7 +37,7 @@ #elif (OGRE_COMPILER == OGRE_COMPIL...

[SOLVED] Build 1.9 for Android - cpu-features.h missing

I'm trying to build Ogre3D for Android. I've tried changing #include <cpu-features.h> to #include <machine/cpu-features.h> and that leads to another set of issues. Currently trying to build version 1.9 If I change to #include <machine/cpu-features.h> in OgrePlatformInformation.cpp: /home/simon/Downl...

An official PPA

Have you considered creating a PPA for Ogre3D where we can get better updated versions of Ogre3D complete with an Android version? I've tried now for a few days to get Ogre3D to work for Android and I've previously had problems using the currently available apt version of Ogre3D. Can you create a ne...

Re: Android build quick start guide

I keep getting "cpu-features.h: No such file or directory" when building Ogre3D for Android. I'm following the tutorial by the letter and I've tried versions 1.9, 1.10, 2.0, 2.1 of Ogre3D. I've also tried using both the packaged android.toolchain.cmake files and the Android SDK version. Also, I trie...
