I think because it's easier to develop and do testing on android due to its open policy - no need for dev account, no provision required, etc. Develop anything on the iOS is PITA (just my own opinion).

just to mind you that you must use direct3d for this. opengl doesn't support instancing if not mistaken.

by the way, i've installed the mingw version of ogre prebuilt sdk. however i can't find those .a libraries in the lib folder. why are the libraries missing? thanks.
