In Ogre 1.x Samples, there is Sample_VolumeTerrain.
With this, I can dig a hole in the ground, make mountain,... in other word, I can real-time edit the terrain, I think it's really interesting and take some look into it. Here is what I found: According to this article
Volume, Cg, Paging and Volume components: I don’t plan on maintaining them. Someone else will have to do the job (I seriously recommend dropping Cg support though).
So does anyone successfully run Volume Terrain in Ogre 2.1? Or Is there alternative method?
