Noob blender question...

Post by Zeal »

First off, Im assuming one blender unit = one ogre unit, is this correct?

Assuming it is, how can I make a primitive in blender exactly one unit in length/width? I really suck at blender, and I just cant see any 'size/position' properties for the object im working with. When I scale or position an object, the values I see are always relative to its LAST scale/position (no help to me).

So, how do I see and set the position/scale/size of a basic primitive in blender (again with the ultimate goal of getting a primitive thats exactly one ogre unit in size)?

Thanks

You can press n to bring up the transformation properties for that object, vertex, whatever and view/edit its transformation properties precisely.

I can't remember if the current exporter scales when exporting, so you might have to watch out for that.
