Re: Use MyGUI ItemBox

You should use this sample as simple reference: https://github.com/MyGUI/mygui/blob/mas ... Keeper.cpp
Basically what you need is to set callbacks for Item creation/redraw and other events.

Also use MyGUI subforum next time.

Re: Minimal RTSS init code for Fixed-Function emulation

MyGUI doesn't use overlays. It use vertex buffers.

So you won't get any materials from MyGUI, because it doesn't use materials as well.

Re: Enable sensible warnings

I wonder why don't you use some more warnings (that's the list, that is used in MyGUI): -Wno-deprecated -Wall -Wctor-dtor-privacy -Winit-self -Woverloaded-virtual -Wcast-qual -Wwrite-strings -Wextra -Wno-unused-parameter -pedantic -Wshadow Most interesting flags are: -Woverloaded-virtual : Warn when...

Wiki page not loading with chrome or ie.

Users report, that this page freezes when opened with Internet Explorer and Chrome, but works with firefox (related thread http://www.ogre3d.org/addonforums/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=14793). I also confirm this problem, when use IE 9.08 (doesn't matter if I logged in or not). I guess, that wiki admins mi...

Re: Improve build flags and code quality

Ah, and one more thing - since we should not bother library users with warnings we use additional CMake option, that turn off extra warnings with gcc or msvc (W3 instead of W4).

Re: Improve build flags and code quality

While many developers dislike this flags due to lots of not so useful warnings it is still good to use them. Main problem is that you can't just turn it on for some big projects, because you'll get way too much to handle. I spent few days, when I decided to do that with MyGUI. We ended with several ...

The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.
And no logs were generated.

Yeah, that cow looks funny. And the service itself is pretty fast.
I'm interested in how you do offline rendering. How you do it, do you capture screen perframe and then process results into movie?

Re: Performance Expectation

Mr.Ridd, I guess you are running on single core machines. Those "jumpy" timings are fine, because it depends on process scheduler. Sometimes it changes process between frameStart/frameEnd and sometimes not - that's simple. And by the way, if you are running your app from visual studio it uses debug ...

Great! I tried and I love this tool. So far I found only few things that looks a bit wrong: - autorotate slider values are too high, it's usually rotating too fast. - when autoratate enabled and you use left mouse button drag in scene camera jumps back. I guess you should disable left mouse button d...
