Wow, I finished the tutorial and uploaded it and now I can't connect to NeoAxis site.

Anyway, here is the tutorial. Sorry for the lack of professionalism. Specially the smacking at the beginning, never eat peanut butter before voice recording. :)

Fraps does have a slight lossy compression codec. Its impossible to use the later versions of Fraps without it. While this might be nice for some people to save some HD space, I dislike it greatly.

I have no audio. What codec do I need?

EDIT: Nevermind, it plays audio in Media Player, no go in VLC.

Looks great! 8) I have exported tree001 to a mesh through blender. But, the model appears very faceted and chunky (as I would expect for a low poly model). Does anyone know any texturing tricks to make a model appear more smooth? I am not blaming the model, I am blaming my inability in these areas....

I have been using NeoAxis for around 3 months. The tools are great and are under continual development. This engine is going to be AWESOME in a few more releases. I highly recommend downloading and checking out the demo and the tools. The particle editor in the Resource Editor alone is worth the dow...

I didn't think the part about dying when hitting a wall was very fun. And if you travel vertically along a wall, you merge into it.

Remove the vertex normals from the sphere for a faceted sphere. I'll post a more relevant image soon. This is just one borrowed from the net. http://www.rivastation.com/review/geforce2_gts2/sphere.jpg This was for better visualization of the grid if implemented. And the poles just rip a grid impleme...

I played the demo. Quite impressive so far. Here is what I would change if it were my game. In the least I hope it give you some inspiration... Lose the snake theme. Its always going to be compared to Nibbler if you continue using it. Use a 3d model of a running kid. It will look better and the jump...

I have the runtime files from the first post. I reinstalled them.

msvcp71.dll is VS2003, not 2005. Might make a difference. I have .NET 2.0, not sure about 1.1

Edit - I know how to get it to work, by downloading the dll. :) I was pointing out an error.

Is there anyway to speed up the mouse? Its like slow death for me.

I don't mind compiling from CVS if needed if someone could tell me what code to change.

Thanks,
