Re: get the postion of the manualobject

You need to get the position of the scene node you attached them to. The position of the manual object is (0,0,0) because that is where it is placed inside of the scene node. Hope that helps.

Re: Ripxx Replay

So, in effect, you are helping them identify spots during a run where they could have applied better techniques, more force control, etc? Sounds like it, with all of the accelerometers onboard? Regardless, definitely cool. :) That is it in a nutshell. Thanks for the praise. Always good to have some...

Re: Ripxx Replay

Very cool. I presume the hardware is a gps type recorder? You should stick an accelerometer in too for gforce data which you could use in the visual part (eg head leaning into hard banking, head bobbing slighty to heavy g's) You should also look at the RTSS demo because this would look great with a...

Ripxx Replay

We have designed a piece of hardware for recording a persons data while they do a sporting activity. We then take that data and put it back into our software (developed with Ogre of course :P) which will let you playback what you did. I'll let the marketing text give you the jists. Ripxx Replay is a...

Ogre 1.7 Terrain Question

I have a pretty quick question about about the new terrain manager. Is it possible to make the terrain resize to a rectangular shape? I notice that you set world size but didn't find a set x&y. Thanks for any help on this.

I found a work around that works for me but may make uses not specific like mine crash and burn with a fiery demise :). Attached are the two screenshots of what is going on with the dialog. Full showSelectLodgeDialog(...) void SdkTrayManager::showSelectLodgeDialog(const Ogre::DisplayString &caption)...

3D Plotting Library / Data Visualization

I have been searching all morning to see if anyone has created a 3D Plotting Library for Ogre. We are wanting to allow users to generate various plots and I wanted to see if something has already been done before recreating the wheel.

Thanks for your time and any help, I appreciate it greatly.

Re: [SoC 2009 - Accepted] Unified Samples Framework & Browser

I am trying to use "SelectMenu"s in the a dialog similar to the showYesNoDialog(...) but they are rendering under other "SelectMenu"s. It seems you fixed this by have the setExpandedMenu(...) function place the menu in the priority layer. But whenever I tell it to use setExpandedMenu(...) it places ...
