[Solved] cmake on windows gcc

I need to compile Ogre on a gcc compiler on Windows. I can't use VS Express for this project. I had those errors when generating configuration Missing variable is: CMAKE_C_COMPILER_ENV_VAR Missing variable is: CMAKE_C_COMPILER Missing variable is: CMAKE_CXX_COMPILER_ENV_VAR Missing variable is: CMAK...

Re: Question about the Opacity of the windows

I don't know the answer, I want to do something similar, like having my rendering on my desktop, but it's just a simple 3d model moving around ... like walking on to the screen.

Any idea someone?

You should use oFusion while making the model, that would solve this issue.

I don't get your point. I just don't understand how one DLL can be used in both debug/release and the other DLL cannot be used in debug/release? I mean if that was the case that a release DLL never can be used in a debug environment I see a lot of problem which would happened... So there must be a w...

Well Ogre is doing it, isn't it? I mean when I download OgreSDK, there is the CEGUI debug DLL coming up with.

And I'm putting it on SVN for it not being a showstopper. I just want the people to hit F5 and it compile and run really easily.

DLL Debug vs Release

Ok, there's something I don't understand fully and need highlight on it. I've setup my project with a DLL (Irrlicht) by linking it with the .lib and my project run in both debug/release with no problem. Then I take Ogre, and I try to link both debug/release with the release DLL, it crash in debug mo...

From what I heard, the funder of softimage (Daniel Langlois) had financial problems and it's his remaining part in the company which has been sold (About 30%). Well it's just rumors, I don't have facts. Autodesk and softimage both are in Montreal, so for us in Montreal, this is a natural move.

Hi zero,

Well it's done for building too ;) I think it would work pretty well in building. It's a flood fill, so it's gonna find it's way inside the rooms. The structure is there to open the doors and so on, but I would need a test platform to code this part of "actions to take"!! :D
