Thank you. Of course i can implement that way, but in my mind - the rays more simply i think, and i think they have speciality methods that's give position of intersects with some coordinates. So if they don't - i'll look another way.

Actually not! I don't use ExampleApplication and have my own render loop.
I hust use mOverlay->show() on the starting loading process and mOverlay->hide() at the end.
I don't want to use loading bar. Just "Loading..." word on the black screen

I need to make the screen "Loading", that all resources are loaded only at the time when I click the Start button in CEGUI. It is this click I can do. I have a class Loader, which parse XML-file...

Trigger Pattern

Perhaps many of you use in your game triggers. Let's assume that when a player gets to a certain trigger - an event is triggered. I want to play in its use such a system, but I do not know how best to do so. Let's say I can ask coordinates (the starting point and radius) - this will be my trigger. h...

Sorry, but i think - for first project - the best thing is to do something like tetris game or some kind of minesweeper (or lines). It's good thing to know - game development is so hard process. Make games from minimum - to maximum

Try next thing: go into %SYSTEM%/system32 directory and find d3dx9d_XX.dll Where XX have value more than 33 (Fore Example 36). Copy tha DLL and past without changing directory. Then, rename your copy into d3dx9d_33.dll. I know, this way can call some bugs during work (Theoreticaly), but i always do ...
