nah.. i guess thats just an implementation of multitexturing... perhaps an animated texture over the regular water texture?

Also, read a little bit on texture splatting so you can manage the dirt and the grass in a way that you cant notice the tiling...

yeah.. i guess an Off topic forum would be great. I personally disagree with haffax as sometimes its good to go outside the box and get my mind on something else... plus i think sense of humor and other topics helps strengthen the community.

The cheapest and most stable way (like free) is to use Code::Blocks and the VC 2003 Toolkit. That said, there is no better IDE/Compiler than VS .net 2003 (VC7.1) - it rocks! :) Rock solid - and much better than vs 2002 (7.0) - not mentioning the ancient relic vc6. :wink: I have a question.. isnt Co...

great abstraction discipline! It was easy to understand looking at the code, though i cant compile here at college. Gonna download at my place. Definitely there should be an easier way to install i think... Also, i think an easy tut just to get the user used to the framework would be a nice complime...
