Looking great, ls129.

I especially like the short video clip. The robot falling down is very realistic, and quite comic at the same time. Reminds me off many a drunken student night...

I for one am very keen to see your source, Monster :)

Hey, what if you were to combine your methods with instancing? Is that a possible scenario? Wouldnt we get an even more increase in trees?

Screenshots dont do these sort of effects justice. Awesome demo nfz!

I get an average of around 170 FPS in 1024*768 with a Radeon 9800 Pro.

Ive always wondered how the hell other apps manage to do so many graphical objects at the same time. Like Far Cry. Or Speed Tree, which has loads of animated trees. Crazy.

Had a quick look throught the PDF, and it looks very descriptive and rather professional.

I hope to go through this tutorial soon...even if I never end up using wxwidgets, I believe its going to teach me some important things anyway.

Thanks Noiprox :)

Those are very nice models you've got there... I just had to say that I have probably never seen a team of artists who need a coder... in 99% of the times it is the other way around... Good luck with your project! I'm sure that there is someone who is interested... finding artists is hard. I agree....

One recent study by AOL showed that women over 40 are the biggest players of online games. They play puzzle games, card games, The Sims, etc. Ok, surprising survey results until you think about who conducted the survey. AOL, in my experiance, is a poor, restrictive, more-advertising-than-product in...

3D Studio Mesh Exporter tutorial

Hello there, One of the modellers in the Critical Supply team, Chain, has made a flash video tutorial to help teach us how to use the 3D Studio Mesh Exporter. We thought it would be nice to share it with the OGRE community, in the hope of giving any 3D Studio Max beginners some tips on how to use it...

The texture and animation (a simple scroll_anim) are defined in a material file. I do not know exactly what processes go on in the background to keep these material's a...
