Ghost shadow effect

Post by Kristian » Sun May 29, 2005 8:04 pm

Hello,
Ive been getting shadows will appearing on the opposite side of walls and such and I belive this is what people refer to as "ghost shadows". Is this avoidable somehow ?

I guess you're using stencil shadows. If so, the only way I know is making walls cast shadows too :?

Hi kencho,
Yes Im using stensil shadows. Do you know why you need to set the wall as a shadow caster to get rid of the ghost shadows ?

The fact is that if the wall cast shadows, you won't see the ghost shadow anymore, but they will be there too.
