DEV C++ Install...

DEV C++ Install...

Okay...The instructions say to doubleclick the devpak and its supposed to install.

However what program do I need to open a devpak file? :/

Winrar, and Winzip arn't working so well, need a hand here :p

Actually, you need to have Dev-C++ installed and it should automatically be asociated with that filetype.

Already installed DevC. For some reason .DevPak didn't associate with what it was supposed to associate with.

Run Dev-C++ and open the Package Manager (Tools->Package Manager) OR run the PackMan application from the Dev-Cpp directory. If you dont have PackMan.exe the you can download from here:

From the PM (select Package->Install Package) and "open" your devpak to install. You should, as already pointed out, just have to double click on the devpak to initiate all this.

If you have the Alpha (Beta?) version of DevC++ installed, just install the devpak from the update facility. I think it's listed in there.
