Hi, I've used the same algorithm Ogre uses to generate an edge list for a mesh, however, I need it to work for meshes that are not closed(has edges that are not shared by 2 tris) , too. I just recently noticed that some of the border edges are not found using this algorithm. Maybe someone can point me to a more general algo(I already tried google :? ) , or tell me how to modify this one :

There are a patch I submitted to SF should work as you expect:
Patch for edge list stuff

And another thread Enhancement and optimize for stencil shadow take about with this patch.
