Difference between DLLs in precompiled demos and SDK

Post by thSoft »

Just a short unimportant question:
I noticed that the DLLs (I mean in the release dir) in the precompiled VC++6 SDK are a lot bigger than those in the demo pack. Is there any difference between them, or I can use the smaller ones without losing functionality?
Thx,
thSoft

The demo pack was built using VC7.0, that's why :) No, you can't mix them.

Interesting, 'cause I compiled one of the demo sources, put the executable together with the demo DLLs, and it ran properly. But I assume too that it's just a happy coincidence. Thx!
