Post by eugen »

this demo is about having a number of pieces (sqares, barells, balls, boxes) and controling many meschanisms to get the pieces falling till the last one...here are some screenshots

these two screenshots hardely point out the fact that when i press the '1' key, the fan starts and blows away the boxes and slowly pushes tthat barell to the ramp...
(the pipes are blowing too objects that pass in front of them :) )

Really cool stuff! So what are you using for collision detection? I looked in the original thread and didn't see anything about it.

Heya! Looking good! I think you should consider making this kinda like a 3d version of Sierra's "The Incredible Machine". It would be awesome to get to play that game in 3d(though it might already exist, on Ogre would certainly be a cool addittion). Keep it up!

Wow, sounds (and looks) like a very fun game concept if worked out well :) Incredible machine was big fun. A game like that in 3d would be terrific!

Oh.. so its 3d just for the view matter right? It would be cool to have to calculate based on the z axis too... that would definitely add a little more to the hard factor, plus, making much more strange machinery on the scene.
