have a look - my final project

Post by Jack000 » Fri Apr 16, 2010 1:36 am

just finished my final project for engineering undergrad. The graphics are far from AAA quality, but looks nice enough to me. Thanks to everyone in the community for helping along the way, couldn't have done it without you guys! :D

Very nice.

Shame about the FPS. I wonder where the bottle neck is?

Enabling FSAA (anti-aliasing) would enhance your screenshots a lot!

Apart from that it's already looking nice.

yeah it was because of the trees. some Lod might have helped, but for the demo we just did it without the trees, which ran almost 100fps.

Looks like a great alternative for people living in a nuclear shelter, who can't go outside cycling, because of the radioactivity ;-)

Use the power of 2 - literally. Non 2^n texture sizes may crash your graphic driver

Sounds like a cool premise for a game.

You emerge from your nuclear shelter (wearing a Hazmat suit of course) and realise none of the cars or other mechanical devices are working due the the ElectroMagnetic Explosion (EMP) associated with the recent Neuclear blast. Of course, you still have your bike :)
