Ogre3D PS3 port [April April]

Post by so0os »

Hi,

I've been secretly developing this and since I have visible results now, I thought I can share. I managed to get Ogre3D compile and run on homebrew enabled PS3 using GL rendering system modified a bit for PSGL. The resource support is currently limited to minimum and it's overall not yet ready for public use. Also, I actually didn't get SampleBrowser working, just several modded samples. Below is a screenshot, video and sourcecode for ones interested. ENJOY!

This is me rejoicing on a first working sample ;)

I actually fell for this one. In my defence, I'm Australian. No wait, what I mean is that it was late in the day where I was, technically past fooling time.

I don't know that much about PS3 architecture, I knew it was a reasonably modern system and has been jailbroken so an Ogre port didn't seem impossible. Once the Amiga port showed up I knew I was in trouble.

Still, I wait with bated breath for the C64 port.
