Hello!
We're getting really close to releasing our first console title, OKABU for PS3. On PS3 we're using an Ogre-PhyreEngine hybrid (including Sinbad's great terrain engine). We initially ported all of Ogre to PS3, but switched to using a PhyreEngine hybrid to take advantage of the SPUs and other PS3 optimisations that PhyreEngine brings
We ported a number of Ogre objects (such as BillboardChain, terrain) as native PhyreEngine objects, as well as building tools to load Ogre meshes/animations into PhyreEngine and convert to native PE assets.
Our editor is a Mac Cocoa app that wraps around the game (running pure Ogre, not PE), allowing you to toggle between editing and play, allows you to paint trees/foliage, edit entities and modify the terrain.
We're really grateful to the Ogre team and community for creating such a great library, its been invaluable for us on this project, and we look forward to using it on many more

Sweet! I love the japanese-like style
An SPU optimized version of Ogre would be really great

Congratulations mate, I've been following you progress since the beginning and it looks like a lovely game. Best of luck, I'm now going to have to get a PS3

The mere concept of making Ogre run on PS3 makes my brain hurt. Excellent work!

I heard some rumours about running Ogre games on X360 but PS3 support was lacking! [The Wii/Wii-U also!]
Please share some details with us.
