Behavior / AI middleware MASA LIFE

Post by masalife »

Dear Ogre3d community and AI enthusiasts,

Before we start, let us make it clear that we though believe this is the correct place regarding the forum rules for this section/thread, we may be mistaken. Apologies if this is the case.

First of all Ogre3d is one essential part of our product and we think Ogre3d users could benefit by our product as well.
We think Ogre3d is a great piece of software and w/o it we would not have been able to visualize behavior in our product like we actually did.
So we have to thank all the developers and the community. Without your continuous engagement and your motivation to build something great in almost the last decade now this would not been possible.
In fact we already used Ogre3d in our AI technologies since 2006, so almost since the birth of the ogre ...

Although Ogres afaik also like honey (do they?!), this thread is intended for developers and designers who face the challenging task of creating and modeling artificial intelligence re. behavior.
Whether you are working on a lively environment populated with numerous inhabitants/NPCs, each with simple but diverse behaviors, or you have few NPCs, whose behavior is both convincing and complex, we believe MASA LIFE would be an excellent choice.

Indeed we just released MASA LIFE v1.5, whose features include:
  • Rapid prototype behaviors/AI
  • Visual modeling of reusable behaviors empowering designers with intuitive graphical editors (Behavior Trees, Navigation, Knowledge,...).
  • Graphical (remote) debugging & inspection.
  • Sparking life: integrate with our cross-platform SDK and deploy easily with a single-click of a button.
  • Extensive getting-started experience and documentation.
If you are interested in evaluating MASA LIFE please feel free to request a trial version at http://www.masagroup.net/products/masa- ... masa-life/.

Further to this we suggest you take a look at the following resources: If you have the slightest problem downloading, installing, or using MASA LIFE, please do not hesitate to contact us with your questions and remarks, as your opinions and feedback are vitally important to us.

Best Frank

Hi Frank,

This looks great! I am continually impressed with the talent of the MASA engineers and their ability to create tools that streamline complex AI problems. Reducing time to market through a streamlined workflow is a win win in my book.

Great work!
