very nice...your demo also reminds me of fluid-dynamics demos...
i have a faint idie of exploiting recast/detour for things other than characters controlers
it may be useful for animating stuff like rolling stones without a physics library
i imagine you can also use it to animate mesh vertices, mabye to create an expanding water plane, like a flood or running lava
i think i saw somewhere a library that uses recast for portal-culling...
makes me wonder what other non-conventional uses this cool algorithm has?

Maybe great use it in the missile dodge of the wall.
