TZE Demo Released

Post by osolizig »

The Zeus Engine is a project using OGRE for graphics. It is a full game engine, providing sound, GUI, AI, physics, collision support. It is licenced under LGPL. However for now, only NovodeX physics/collision support is added, so you will have to pay NovodeX for commercial products.
The engine features really good graphics (thanks to OGRE). We also bind CEGUI to the engine to provide GUI support. The sound interface is abstract so plugins can be written. For now, OpenAL plugin is written. AI is provided through Lua or C++ function/classes. We provide full high level object (HLO) support. This object link all subcomponents. Also, HLO plugins can be written. For full information, vist our site. The engine is for now still under constant development, so you can access it through CVS (and email me for dependencies).

We have however created a demo that shows some of engine's features. All these screenshots are from the demo. The demo also has sound. You might need OpenAL to run it (download it from their official site). You can download the demo here
