Hi,

i have some idea for SoC, still thinking about it...

Will be nice to have some kind of scene-scripting tool in Ogre. For constructing cutscenes in game.
It will be too hard, if declare too much features, but if i develop some right constraints - i think it will be cool!


I have some experience in such things - i was demoscene coder some time ago; and worked in Nival team in core group, and i saw, how that things being made.

What do You think, is it possible to make such contribtuion for Ogre commuinty during summer?

Well, you can make the nodes follow tracks in Ogre, so doing a scripting like this would be quite simple. I think an add-on for Ogre performing this would be great :)

This is a good idea for an addon editor, but if it can be extended and generalized a bit more

i thought in another way:
to make parser for scripts + player for it. (can make movies, pack and publish =)

making editor is also interesting... but maybe its not so easy?
