Forced Evolution (My WIP)

Post by lonewolff »

Hi Guys,

It has been a while since I traversed these parts. ;)

I am currently working on a game that is showing some decent progress. The reason I haven't posted in the showcase forum yet, is that my game is currently being prototyped in Game Maker, so I can work out the logic super fast and then port over to Ogre for obvious performance reasons. :)

So, I present to you my work in progress - Forced Evolution.

The current download was created in 72 hours and is quite limited with respect to gameplay, but should give an indication of what I am going for.

I'd love to know what you guys think as I have always appreciated your feedback in all of the 8 years I have been a part of the Ogre community. :)

This community is a lot quieter than I remember it.

Maybe it's because it's not a work day?

Anyway, well done! I'll take a look after I get some sleep.

The off-topic forum is simply not visited very often. :)

I agree, though, really does look nice. But it seems to be 2D... why do you want to use Ogre for it?
My site! - Have a look :)
Also on Twitter - extra fluffy

I want to use Ogre for two reasons mainly. I am very familiar with Ogre and the performance aspect of Ogre & C++.

And I guess - even thirdly, to continue to promote Ogre and the awesome community.
