can't see other side of triangle

Post by Markmilleru2 » Thu Oct 18, 2018 4:29 pm

When drawing triangles using vertex cordless drill best miter saw best gaming laptop under 500 best reel mower how is it that you can see one side and after rotating it, you don't see the other side.
Is there some way to change that?

You can use "cull_hardware none" (1.x) or "cull_mode none" (2.1+) in the material.

However there may be lighting issues. If you're on 2.1 you can use datablock->setTwoSidedLighting( true ); which takes care of the lighting issues for you.

A common workaround is to duplicate the triangles, so you have one facing front, and another facing the back. If you need an explanation of why all of this, I suggest you read Polycount vs Vertex count.
