Problems building or running the engine, queries about how to use features etc.

[Solved] Should this compile?

Post by saintnick » Fri Dec 21, 2018 12:06 am

In my IDE I don't get the Ogre documentation for the pitch method after ).

Code: Select all

		mNode->pitch(mRotY), Node::TS_LOCAL;
		mNode->roll(mRotX), Node::TS_LOCAL;
In my IDE I get the Ogre documentation for the pitch method.

Code: Select all

		mNode->pitch(mRotY, Node::TS_LOCAL);
		mNode->roll(mRotX, Node::TS_LOCAL);
If these two code samples don't do the same thing then what does the first do? It compiles and runs without warnings but I don't think the desired effect is achieved.

Thank you for that link. I have never run across the comma operator when using C++. Never read about it in books either.
