[1.12.0]Terrain Problems, LOD on GL3+, Light or Texture on DX11

[1.12.0]Terrain Problems, LOD on GL3+, Light or Texture on DX11

Ogre Version: 1.12.0
Operating System: Windows 10
Render System: GL3+

Hello, I have cloned v.1.12.0 repository and built samples. When I run the "Endless World" sample I got different results on different render subsystems. Also there are other samples producing different results on different render subsystems.

GL : Works fine.
GL3+ : LOD texture problem
DX11 : Blueish textures, maybe related with (ambient) light

What's wrong with the terrain component and which subsystem should I choose to get minimum headache?

The D3D11 issue is related with the use of Normalmaps. Try the "Terrain" sample, which will have different artifacts.

GL3+ should work without issues though and your LOD artifacts are new to me. Anything suspicious on the log?

but if GL works fine and you do not need any GL3+ features, just go with it.
