Use Ogre in an existing iOS app?

Maybe this has been asked before - it seems likely - but how easy is it to set up a regular iOS app and then add Ogre functionality to it rather than let Ogre magically set up UIViews and whatever? Does Ogre allow you to do similar to Windows where you init Ogre and tell it an existing 'window' to use?

Google threw up some relevant threads but none seem to exactly answer this question with clear code snippets.
