RTT on Ogre v1.8, iOS6, GLES 1

I've recently switched from v1.7 Ogre to v1.8 Ogre. By changing very little I've had 2 issues.

1. Materials with 2d 0 at the end of a texture line to specify no mipmaps show up white.

2. A render to texture without any code changes from Ogre v1.7 renders white also.

Any thoughts?
