[2.1] Shadows glitch when HlmsPbsDatablock::setEmissive is called

I am dynamically changing the emissive property of an item using HlmsPbsDatablock::setEmissive and every time it's called the shadows for that object and all its parents disappear for one frame. I tried setDiffuse as well and the same thing happens, so I would assume that any change to the datablock would make the shadows glitch. Has anybody experienced this issue?
