[2.1] Support for waving Grass

Hi,

has somebody experimented on waving grass with Ogre2.1?
There is an example how to do it with Ogre 1.9, but since then a lot has changed.

I have wind implemented, where I paint vertex color influence and a 3d noise texture makes the waving effect... But If I fill the scene with grass models performance is not so good, I think the ideal would be some kind of shader generated grass, maybe using a code like terra

Wind effects, sounds great :)

Oh ok, I thought with Ogre's new static flag for Items, SceneNodes, Entities, performance should be no issue.
Implementation like terra sound complicated.
