Hi,

I compiled 1.7rc1 under gentoo-linux but it seems cmake doesn't search for DevIL, only for freeimage. As freeimage was deleted from portage I would like to use devIL instead as I was doing in ogre 1.6. Has the devIL dependency been removed in 1.7? I don't know much about cmake but there seems to be a FindDevIL.cmake missing in CMake/Packages/.

DevIl has an incompatible license.
Why can't you just install FreeImage from source?
Portage is just fancy source packages, no?

I see, that's why.... Never mind then, I'll install freeimage.
