Portal-based scene manager?

Is there a portal-based indoor scene manager for Ogre? Searching around I came up with PCZSM, which appears to connect various scene managers (terrain, octree, etc) via portals. This is something of the right concept, but I'm thinking for primarily indoor scenes where portals connect scene nodes instead of so-called 'zones'. It's possible PCZSM does what I'm describing but the documentation isn't clear if it does (=. If there isn't one, is there any interest in such a plugin for indoor scenes?

PSCZSM allows you to connect any scene to any scene, so if you have a big outdoor scene and several indoor scenes, it works. You can have several outdoors, use a tunnel scene somewhere, etc.
Digg in the doc (or comments) you'll find how to set it up.
