Hi everyone,
I'm french so i'm sorry if my english is not very good.
I use ogre3D 1.8 with XCODE, I use this tutorial to configure my project
http://www.ogre3d.org/tikiwiki/tiki-ind ... +4+project and it works.
But i don't find the MyOgreProject.app in the MyOgreProject folder but in
/Users/xxx/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/MyOgreProject-cuprzuhnwikpvbhjcrqlkhquffvd/Build/Products/Debug
I try change the build directory with :
Code: Select all
Ogre::String workingDir = Ogre::macBundlePath()+"/Contents/Resources";
chdir(workingDir.c_str());
std::cout << "working directory: "+workingDir+"\n";
But it doesn't works, can you help me please ?

The resource system uses the app path to help locate resources. I haven't tried it but using chdir may cause issues. What errors are you getting?

I don't have an error but the generated executable isn't in my project folder
/Users/xxx/Desktop/MyOgreProject
but in
/Users/xxx/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/MyOgreProject-cuprzuhnwikpvbhjcrqlkhquffvd/Build/Products/Debug
Is it normal ? How can i have the generated executable in my project folder ??

I think it might be the Build Products Path in your project settings. But double check the Xcode docs just to verify.
