What to use for creating ogre3d's mesh files. Free software

Post by DoubleLee »

I've been looking into using blender and the official and unofficial importer/exporters. But there is problem blenders current version is not fully supported it seems. So what is the best version of blender and matching importer/exporter to use? Is there another option I am not seeing like wings3d for example? Must be free software.

Ogre's exporters:

Wings 3D is in there (no idea how up to date it is, I've never used Wings 3D).
