Help with jMonkeyEngine

So looking through various threads it seems that jMonkeyEngine does not work with Blender 2.6 or the ogre2blender 0.5.8 plugin. I've tried multiple tutorials on how to fix my mesh but it still comes out twisted in jMonkey when the animations run. I wanted to post here because the jMonkey forums seem to be less active and I want help really soon! Please respond with any suggestions you have.

blender2ogre 88 and blender 2.63a+ work
I managed to export mesh + animations

location of your mesh is also not at 000
