Post by mgking »

Hi,

I exported an object from blender and import it into ogre.
Everything looks good, but problem appears when i try to put a texture(.jpg file) on the blender object.
The texture is cut into triangles throo all object(it is not smoth).
How could i fix the problem.

Thanks,

I'm still a beginner at this as well, but I'll give it a shot ...

Did you UV map the texture on the model?

Sounds like your model has no texture coordinates, as AnimalMachine says. You need to UV map the model in blender; I don't know how that is done, though.

One good resource for blender help is elysiun.com. You can find a list of video tutorials in the forum there, but the only ones I've looked at were here. Greybeard did a nice UV video tutorial, which you can see on the modelling page.
