Way for artist to test exported models?

Hello,

I have an artist who is exporting models for me to be used in an Ogre 1.8.1 based engine. He does not have any code/compiling experience but needs to be able to test the models using Ogre before sending them to me. The problem we are running into is that animations aren't exporting correctly. Things would be a lot faster if he could test the models.

Is there a (stable) tool for testing models in Ogre 1.8.1?

There's ogre meshy http://ogremeshy.sourceforge.net/

The binaries are for 1.8.0 but should be fine for testing meshes for 1.8.1 as well. Or you could build a version using the same version of ogre you are using.
