Easy Ogre Exporter 3ds max 2017 not exporting

I press export and dialog properly says file exported but no file created. I ran 3ds max as admin but didn't work.

Are your selected meshes/objects instantiated?
If it is, you must select your primary meshes/objects

Ogre.log says successful but no file. What else do I need to do to export?

Easy Ogre Exporter uses non Unicode characters and cant save to user folder. But works in other folders.
