ogre3dsexporter and 3ds

Post by Aeragon »

I'm trying to export a mesh from 3ds,
The one that I have is several separate small obj link together. With the sample one, it have one obj that include all without any subtree, ie mousemesh for mouse_walking.max

I cannot select the root of the tree for the conversion.
How do I get this obj that include all the other?

Thank

You have to attach the objects together, via Attach.

Save your work before attatch'ing - that way you can reload the max scene and continue editing.

Select an object - attatch it to another, etc.
It doesn't work on groups.

Save your work first.

You may also have to convert the objects to Editable Meshes.
Right-click each one and in the pop-up menu select Convert->Editable Mesh.
