blender warning, two edged face

Post by Chris Jones »

im trying to learn how 2 use blender and do 3d modelling (i suck at graphics)

i made a castle chess peice because its not weird and complex, but it isnt a cube :P

when i export it to OGRE XML, i get four warnings "Warning: Ignored face with two edges". what is this exactly? and how can i find out what faces have the two edges so that i can remove them?

Say you excrude a face but don't move the excrudted face then you have doubled the edges and faces. Its basicly 2 edges or faces that are in the same location.

There is also a remove doubles button in edit mode that will remove vertices that are close to eacher other.
