Did you forget something? A Download link? hehe

It looks pretty nice so far based on the screenshots. Are there different layouts to choose from? I like the viewable Ogre log as well.

Looks cool. Shader-Editor-Functionality would be a great thing, shouldn't be too hard to move this tool towards something like a simple RenderMonkey...

Looking good, especially if it's cross-platform due to the use of wxWidgets.

I am very interested in the code used to get get ogre to draw in the wxWidgets windows for Linux and Mac, doing it on windows is trivial.

This reminds me, maybe should make a better wxOgre widget and put it on the wiki...

Wow looks great. I really could use it. My content designers have a hard time getting content into ogre right the first time. It would be great if they could preview it easily.

It looks really interresting, continue !!! we really miss this kind of tools !
I love this kind of "desktop" possibility with dockable windows, I didn't know wxwidget was capable of that, with .NET it was really tricky to do it !

Thanks everybody for comments :D !!!!

Download will be available very soon for a simple mesh viewer !!!

A shader editor will be a great stuff I agree, and I want to add this functionnality . I think i'll use wxScintilla or wxStyledTextCtrl (very similar i think ).

I use wxWidget 2.6.2 + wxIFM + wxPropertyGrid with VisualC++ 6.0 (old compiler i know ... lol)

I haven't been able to get wxIFM working with wxGTK. Has anyone else? I am hoping for a new portable mesh viewer, but if wxIFM borks on other plaforms...

Just coming to say... hurry up!

No, really, alllthough I find the current mesh viewer adequate, one with shader capabilities would be really fantastic.

Very Cool :D .

When you finish it a nice thing will be put it in ogreaddons.

Anyway, a suggestion: add the possibility to edit mesh files, changing textures files or animation names, etc. Look at "Half-Life Model viewer" in that program you can edit the textures, just changing an image and you cant change the position of the textures but is really useful when you aren't 3D artist.

Bye!

I like the docking effects. Are you using any form designers for wxWidgets, or are you just doing everything in VS 6.0 (as in, just coding the design the old fasion way)?

I am not interested in the source, actually.
Rather a feature-full artist tool. :)

Source would be nice, too - but the tool itself would be a valuable addition to the Ogre tool-set.
I see too many unfinished projects around.
