I've discovered today that particle scripts accept yes/no and true/false for booleans; while materials accept on/off and true/false. Furthermore in a .particle script something like "point_rendering on" is not recognized and silently converted to false.
This is very very confusing. A limitation to true/false would be ideal but it would break older scripts. I suggest supporting the full range yes/no true/false on/off everywhere. This would eliminate a very unpleasant detail.
This should be a very easy fix and I'm willing to make patch. What do you think?
yes/no in .material and on/off in .particle

In the new compilers truth values support what you suggest: yes/no, on/off, and true/false in all scripts.
