Hi all ...

Can OGRE perform some kind of hot loading ?

Maybe not directly but with some tool manually called ...

I don't understand the question. If you mean loading in the background, then yes, it's already there.

This is not what I mean ....

Hot loading is for example, while you are running your OGRE app and with Photoshop modify a texture and the result is loaded on the fly inside your app ...

Does Ogre support this ?

If you want to write the code that watches a directory of textures, and reloads any that have changed, yes, it supports it. Will it do it on its own? No -- you need to write the small amount of code that reloads the texture data.

Ok I understand, But the references to this texture will remain good ? I mean, do I need also reload materials that use this texture or Ogre does?

If you just reload the resource, the resource instance itself is still the same and therefore all references are still valid.
