I cant run it though... Removed Vista from my laptop and putted XP on it... Still have nightmare's on Vista though

But still, nice work. I've been following the Developer thread too, so I know this cube costed you some frustrations ;)
I have not failed... I've just found many ways that wont work

Amazing! Tested with both Nvidia and ATI DX 10 capable cards, excellent fps! Now, let's hope we can get something from DX 10, that we couldn't from DX 9.

Anything yet on the performance of an Ogre D3D10 render system? I've read a lot indefinite stuff about how a graphics engine that ties together a D3D10 render system with D3D9 or OpenGL would need a general overhaul. Otherwise it couldn't benefit that much from the reduced CPU overhead D3D10 has to offer. (These comments came from some developer in reply to why the games that already have a D3D10 render system don't show any reduced CPU usage in comparison to their D3D9 render system.)
Enough is never enough.

Keep it up! :) I dont have any vista machine, so I am curious how do you compare the performance between similar machine XP vs Vista (or Dx9 vs Dx10). Yeah.. similar machine which mean the same cpu and graphics card (if you have two of them or you can do dual-boot on the same pc).

Well, this is not finished... I am only doing the basic stuff so far, no optimizations yet.

Wait more before testing performance.

Promising !

Actually I would be really interrested into the way you implement the shaders to replace the fixed function, I have finished an Axiom XNA renderer system, but all the textures stage/fx/ coordinate/modulation ect... have still to be implemented.

In fact,I am a little confuse with OpenGL and DirectX 10.How will DirectX 10 new shader be support by OpenGL,as Ogre must support OpenGL and DirectX in the same way?
