Question about free sounds.

Post by scratchyrice »

Hi all. Basicly, Im not too good when it comes to reading lisence agreements. Basicly i would just like to know if the following site:
http://www.freesound.org

Is an acceptable place to get my sounds? Ive heard the samples and they are very good. It just seems a bit to good to be true. Am i truly allowed to use the sounds in any of my own works, I.e, a game? And then have the possibility of selling the game later, So long as i mention the authors in the credits?

The full liscencing agreement is here:
http://www.freesound.org/forum/profile. ... e=register

Cheers

Scratchyrice.

I changed the link.
I is http://www.freesound.org/

You are free To sample, mash-up, or otherwise creatively transform this work for commercial or noncommercial purposes.

However, you need to attribute: http://www.freesound.org/legal.php
/* Less noise. More signal. */
Ogitor Scenebuilder - powered by Ogre, presented by Qt, fueled by Passion.
OgreAddons - the Ogre code suppository.
