With time and patience, the mulberry leaf becomes satin. With time and patience the mulberry leaf becomes a silk gown.

They appear to be a distance learning college, so everything is done online. Their forum is open to the public so you could ask some of the students what it's like.
They have designer and developer (coder) diplomas. The lesson plan is on the site. Apparently it's done at your own pace, and can take from 1.5 to 3 years.
The programmers are given a free copy of Game Maker 7 Pro when they enrol. That's a little worrying, considering Game Maker's home page says: "Game Maker allows you to make exciting computer games, without the need to write a single line of code."
I'm pretty biased, but I'd prefer somewhere with real face to face classes. A forum and email just aren't as good for explaining things to someone having problems as actually interacting with them in person.
As of 3 weeks ago, nobody has actually graduated yet (according to the forum admin), so there's no real proof of the final outcome.

They only have diplomas, not degrees.
It costs 5000 pounds (according to the forum, it's not on the website anywhere).

Well, if you look at the "course plan" they don't seem to actually teach you how to program/make games.
They just teach you about things required in order to do it.
Although I could be misinterpreting it.
Take a look though:
http://www.train2game.com/course_plan.html
All their "Designing a Game:" lessons are simply "things to bear in mind" or "methods."
Other than that the rest of the lessons seem to revolve around explaining different aspects and functions of games.
Minus the lessons explaining design documentation and so forth...
So personally I think it would be a rather huge waste of money.

I saw it at first, and didn´t impress me much, but in one year or three you should learn more than if you go for free, like me or other people, that learn but we have to look for infomation or to search a specific plugin, but 6000 euros for has it in my hard drive or online is so much, i can buy another bmw with 340 hp with less moneyGigabeat wrote:Well, if you look at the "course plan" they don't seem to actually teach you how to program/make games.

So, in conclusion, yes, it is a completily waste of money
Thanks for you interest

Well yes, that's what game design is about. It's the developer course that has the actual making of a game stuff:All their "Designing a Game:" lessons are simply "things to bear in mind" or "methods."
