Re: Do you really really know OGRE ?
I STRONGLY urge you NOT to put an email address in an open posting. Unless you like tons of spam, of course.
I would recommend instead that you ask them to PM you through these forums (see that "PM" link to the right?), and set up your account to notify you of PMs via email.
(in fact, I decided to edit your post to foil address scrapers)

What Xavier said.
Plus no one will talk to you privately unless there's some sort of compensation for it. If you have questions, just ask on the forums.

If you need some kind of professional support (and are willing to pay for it) have a look at the Ogre Contractors. Otherwise, if you need help for free, just ask here in the forums as nullsquared said, or try to get in contact with some experienced users via PMs.

Do you really expect people to email you based on a one-liner?
Are you a spammer?

Re: Do you really really know OGRE ?
When someone PMs me a question that should be a forum post, I basically ask them to post it in the forums. So I wouldn't recommend this -- it just pisses a lot of people off.spacegaier wrote:or try to get in contact with some experienced users via PMs.

Yes, in most cases, that's true. That's not what PMs are therefore...

Re: Do you really really know OGRE ?
I thought the same at first, but unless it's a weak attempt at phishing there's not much else here that points in that direction. There is another post that apparently someone already deleted that had me wondering the same thing (I suppose I won't be expecting a response to that PM I sent them now...jacmoe wrote:Do you really expect people to email you based on a one-liner?

I appreciate your changing of the email, though it was just made for this topic and most likely closed when finished.
I'm looking for someone who knows the OGRE pipeline and what is needed/involved in taking a project from start to finish so I can bounce questions of them.

Re: Do you really really know OGRE ?
Well, there are many, many thread here on the various tools that can be used for the content pipeline, as well as many articles on the wiki. I guess most of the questions that will come up have either been answered here or can be answered here in public, as they are likely to be interesting for others as well. So, just bounce your questions hereFabu00 wrote:I'm looking for someone who knows the OGRE pipeline and what is needed/involved in taking a project from start to finish so I can bounce questions of them.
