A precompiled SDK for Visual Studio 2008

What did I see when I finally got the cork out and thought I'd just bite the bullet and upgrade to Qt 4.6 - although it means a several hour long compile ?

They really rival Microsoft for having an impossible to find what you really want website.

Funny, I was looking for those files too all yesterday while trying to figure wich way to go with a new project that with use Qt : VS2008 + QtVSAddin or QtCreator? (chose VS on windows for instance).
I didn't understand that the binaries are only available for the framework, not for the SDK.

Since we're using CMake, it's not a problem for us (Ogitor).
CMake and Qt is good company.
Because KDE uses CMake. So good integration.
It handles all the messy details behind the scenes.
So just get the precompiled libs, don't worry about the SDK - I am not sure what the difference is either.
If you want Qt Creator - get it. Doesn't matter if it's built with MinGW.
Just make sure to download the debugging tools from Microsoft (as described on the Qt Creator Qt selector program options page).
Rebuild the debugging helper, and off you go.

It's about time! Wasted a whole day compiling QT, well partly because my PC reset due to windows updates 3 hours into compiling. 7 hours lost ftl.

Not an issue on Linux because it's usually available as a binary package.

Well it depends on the Windows version and config... I don't get the problem on my personal (win xp) and work (win 7) computers. But yeah it's safer on Linux and MacOsX.
